DOWNTOWNS ART WALK 2007/ DOWNTOWNS BEST CABLE SHOW

Downtown Art Walk 2007 On July 29, 2003, Los Angeles City Council designated the area along Main Street and Spring Street between 2nd Street and 9th Street in Downtown as Gallery Row. As another forward step towards revitalization, the formation of Gallery Row is a victory for the community and creative professionals everywhere. The Downtown Art Walk is a self-guided tour that showcases the many art exhibition venues in Downtown Los Angeles — commercial art galleries, museums, and non-profit arts venues. This was show #1 of what went on to become an eleven part series filmed during the Los Angeles "Downtown Art Walk over the past several years. There are so many participating galleries that it was impossible to adequately capture all of them in just one half hour show. If you would like to be included on in the filming of the next Downtown Art Walk series on the second Thursday of each month, contact Blaze, if you are a gallery owner, we would love to include you on our next shoot. Show #1 featured several outstanding venues amongst which are: Owner Rex Bruce of Los Angeles Center for Digital Art, Charles A. Bibbs artist/co-owner of The 626 Art Gallery@ STUDIO B, Nic Cha Kim co-owner of NICHE LA Video Art, the one and only Bert Green Fine Arts with special appearances by the artist and community activist, OG Man exposing the children from Union Rescue Mission to the beauty and love of the arts.
